personality Benji Weatherley takes the world’s biggest names in surf,
skate and snow -- plus musician Jack Johnson -- around the world to
experience each other’s sports on a first hand-basis. Don't
miss Tony Hawk shredding a wave pool in Japan...
From the exotic island of Kandui to Osaka and Whistler, see the pros in
“Life as a Movie” risk life, limb, and street cred while out of their
respective athletic comfort zones. You'll also enjoy the close-up,
personal view of what goes into being a professional action sports
athlete.
The talent pool on this journey includes surfers Kelly
Slater, Jack Johnson, Shane Dorian, Ross Williams, Tom Carroll, Kalani
Robb, Yadin Nicol and Rizal Tanjung; skateboarders Tony Hawk, Josh Townend and Chad Bartie;
and
snowboarders

2009 program here.
The Frozen Film Festival is a local 501c3 nonprofit named after
Mark Twain’s infamous did-he-or-didn’t-he-say-it quote. Its annual
July festival embraces the Bay Area’s unique mixture of cultures
and showcases modern artistic media and social issues. The festival also
uniquely includes live art shows, a music competition, local animation,
and more.
