starring Joel "Parko" Parkinson and his faithful hound,

Cruz Film Festival.
This one-hour film chronicles the discovery of Europe's
best big-wave destination on the island of Madeira, and
the subsequent battle to save its surf from greedy
developers and a corrupt government.
Weaving
thrilling big-wave surfing footage with testimony from
some of surfing's greatest industry leaders, the film
touches on the Davenport, CA-based' Coalition's mission
to help surf spots be preserved like any natural
treasure, and show that they socio-economic value that

collection of 30 stories of big waves, shark attacks,
tsunamis, sinking surf boats, killer wipeouts and
comical pranks, illuminating "the less enchanting
aspects of a life committed to surf," according to
